Yabu Pushelberg
Yabu Pushelberg is the global design studio founded in Toronto in 1980 by George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, former classmates at the School of Interior Design of what is now Toronto Metropolitan University. From studios in Toronto and New York, the multidisciplinary practice works across interiors, architecture, furniture, lighting, art and branding, with a portfolio of hotels, residences, restaurants and retail for clients including Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Aman, Bergdorf Goodman, Tiffany & Co., Louis Vuitton and La Samaritaine in Paris.
The studio has designed furniture and lighting for brands including Poliform, Molteni&C, B&B Italia, Glas Italia, Tribù and Salvatori. Its honours include the James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Restaurant Design (1998) and the appointment of both founders as Officers of the Order of Canada. For Poliform, Yabu Pushelberg has designed the Lanai bed, storage and coffee table collection and the Aqualuna armchair, part of the 2026 collection.
