Piero Lissoni
Piero Lissoni graduated in architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1985 and the following year founded Lissoni Associati with Nicoletta Canesi. An architect, designer and art director, he works across architecture, interiors, product and graphic design, and is creative director of Alpi, Boffi, Living Divani, Lualdi, Porro and Sanlorenzo.
His projects range from the Conservatorium Hotel in Amsterdam and The Middle House in Shanghai to yacht interiors for Sanlorenzo, and his honours include the Compasso d’Oro for his career. For Listone Giordano he designed Nui, named after the Japanese word for “to sew” and inspired by Sashimono, the traditional art of dry wood joinery.
