Outdoor Collection: a journey through lifestyle and sensory design

November 19, 2025

Poliform’s Outdoor Collection interprets outdoor living as a natural extension of the home: a complete range of furniture designed to enhance any outside space with a perfect balance of style, comfort and functionality. Clean lines, balanced proportions and refined materials define spaces with a timeless, sophisticated aesthetic.

An invitation to experience the outdoors with style and authenticity. Poliform’s Outdoor Collection is born from a sensory exploration of materials, designed to harmonise with nature and create an ongoing dialogue between design and the surrounding landscape. Textured surfaces, earth-inspired hues and organic forms come together in furnishings that transform any outdoor space into a haven of elegance and comfort. Reflecting a contemporary lifestyle that blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, the Outdoor Collection explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, and living. A story that embraces the beauty of living outdoors, shaped by the creative contributions of Jean-Marie Massaud, Emmanuel Gallina, Marcel Wanders, and Soo Chan.

The embracing warmth of wood

The call of nature takes center stage in the Ketch collection by Jean-Marie Massaud and the Magnolia collection by Emmanuel Gallina. A common thread unites them: the warm, tactile strength of wood, offered in teak and black-stained iroko finishes. Ketch stands out for its bold, geometric frame, softened by the flexible backrests of its seating elements, evoking the unfurled sails of a boat. Magnolia, on the other hand, interprets wood with a sense of lightness: its curved, slender shapes recall the delicate lines of tree branches.

Weaving light and air

The connection between design and nature intensifies in Poliform’s outdoor proposals, where handwoven rope becomes the protagonist. This artisanal technique allows the furnishings to interact with light and air, letting the elements flow through and creating scenic effects that dissolve boundaries. Examples include Mad Out, Marcel Wanders’ outdoor evolution of the iconic Mad seating collection, and Soori Day Lounge by Soo Chan, a circular island of comfort featuring a relaxed design, conceived to celebrate pure outdoor wellbeing.

“The concept of outdoor that we worked on with Poliform was built little by little in my spirit. The first step for me was really to overserve nature, to search for these details that are imperceptible, and to reinterpret them in the pieces of the collections we designed.”

—Emmanuel Gallina, Designer

Three-dimensional materiality

Poliform’s Outdoor Collection also introduces architectural echoes, highlighting materials that naturally belong in outdoor settings, such as concrete and ceramic, reinterpreted with contemporary allure. This is the spirit behind Monolith by Emmanuel Gallina, inspired by the reassuring solidity of dolmens: monumental bases support slender tops crafted from Cementoskin® or basalt stone. The same sense of materiality —textured, three-dimensional, and highly resistant — defines the Strata coffee tables, where Gallina evokes mineral stratifications through compositions of different volumes and heights. Jean-Marie Massaud, instead, explores the expressive potential of ceramic: in Crew, he pairs pure, glazed surfaces to create a vibrant, tone-on-tone effect; while Azu, a monolithic coffee table with a glossy glazed finish, becomes a true sculptural statement for outdoor living.
